MRLA Countdown: 15 Days Until Michigan's Restaurant Industry Faces a Devastating Tip Credit Elimination
"As we stand 15 days from devastating policy hitting our hospitality industry, it's important to point out that an overwhelming majority of both Democrats and Republicans oppose eliminating the tip credit, with 64.4% of Massachusetts voters just recently rejecting a similar measure," said Justin Winslow, President & CEO of the MRLA. "The House recognized this bipartisan consensus by passing HB 4001. The Senate must now follow suit and act on this rare opportunity for bipartisan cooperation to protect Michigan jobs."
