MRLA Countdown: 17 Days Until Michigan's Restaurant Industry Faces a Devastating Tip Credit Elimination
"The legislature is down to just over two weeks to prevent the disastrous reality that two-thirds of Michigan restaurants will be forced to lay off employees if the tip credit is eliminated," said Justin Winslow, President & CEO of the MRLA. "The House took action to prevent these mass layoffs by passing HB 4001. The Senate must act now to protect these Michigan jobs before it's too late."
