MRLA Countdown: 25 Days Until Michigan's Restaurant Industry Faces a Devastating Tip Credit Elimination
“With only 25 days remaining, we're racing against time to prevent what would be equivalent to a pandemic-level event for Michigan's restaurants,” said Justin Winslow, President & CEO of the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association. “The House has acted to protect 1,000 independent restaurants from closing permanently. Now it's critical for the Senate to follow suit and pass House Bill 4001 immediately. Every day of inaction puts more Michigan restaurant jobs and businesses at risk."
