Lansing, MICH. - Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association (MRLA) today announced that its Political Action Committee Board of Trustees has endorsed 10 candidates for the Michigan House of Representatives and 7 candidates for the Michigan State Senate for the August primary election.
"Michigan's hospitality industry needs elected leaders who understand what it takes for restaurants, hotels and the people who run them to succeed," said MRLA President & CEO Justin Winslow. "The candidates we're endorsing today have shown, through their votes and their commitments, that they'll be partners for this industry in Lansing."
Customarily, the MRLA engages in legislative primaries only if an incumbent with a superior voting record with the association is challenged, or if one candidate significantly stands out in an open seat. The endorsed candidates below are listed with their district number and party affiliation.
