- Our dedicated staff will collaborate with you to craft the space to serve your event needs.

- The Townsend Room provides (9) Round tables, seating 8 each for seating capacity of 72, and over 150 standing capacity.
- (2) tall cocktail tables and (1) 8-foot table with black linen will be provided to accommodate registration and catering.
- Alternate setups are available including Theater, U-shape and classroom for additional fee of $50.
- The MRLA provides a list of preferred caterers. Please inquire if a caterer is not listed that you’d like to partner with.
- City of Lansing parking is available behind the building in the South Capitol Parking Ramp with with complimentary parking provided for host contact and caterer.
- Rental includes complimentary guest Wi-Fi.
- Complimentary AV equipment capabilities include a large 8 x 10 drop down screen, (2) handheld microphones, and a podium.
- Coffee service provided by Keweenaw Coffee and water are complimentary.
- Use of The Townsend Room does not constitute endorsement by the MRLA. The room is available to all incumbents and candidates or for caucus events.
FEE:
$200 - MRLA Members
$350 for events, but waived for blah blah blah
- There is a $350 room fee for events, however this fee is waived for caucus events, legislative fundraisers, staff trainings and other events hosted by MRLA Members.
LOCATION HEADLINE
- The Townsend Room is located just two blocks south of the State Capitol, on the main floor of the MRLA Headquarters at 225 W Washtenaw.
