Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association Issues Statement, Video Urging Immediate Restoration of Pure Michigan Funding
“As the governor prepares to present her budget for the coming year, the state’s second largest employer would like to remind her and her colleagues in the legislature that they have some unfinished business to attend to first,” said Justin Winslow, President and CEO of the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association. “There are 200,000 Michiganders working in the hospitality industry whose livelihood is at risk because of a veto with no justifiable cause. The time for political theater is over. The time for action is now. Restore Pure Michigan funding.”
