The networking event includes educational sessions on diversity + inclusion,
workforce development, and current public affairs
LANSING, MICH. – The Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association (MRLA) along with the Detroit Restaurant & Lodging Association (DRLA) will host an Industry Insights networking event featuring three educational sessions that will address a variety of topics important to the hospitality industry from 12:30 to 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 24 at The Madison located at 1555 Broadway, Detroit. The featured speaker for the Industry Insights: Detroit event will be City of Detroit 24-Hour Economy Ambassador Adrian Tonon.
“Our Industry Insights event in Detroit will give attendees the opportunity to hear from local professionals who have a keen understanding of issues important to the state’s hospitality industry,” said Justin Winslow, President & CEO of the MRLA. “We also are thrilled to hear from Adrian Tonon who was tasked by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan to develop strategies that support and bring together local residents, city government and night-time businesses with an emphasis on food and entertainment.”
The three educational sessions will include local panelists who will discuss Diversity + Inclusion, Workforce Development, and Current Public Affairs. Attendees also will enjoy access to exclusive specials on products and services from a number of vendors, and a networking reception and informal mixer with industry professionals. The event is FREE of charge for MRLA members, $50 for non-members and $100 for Allied Members.
