Alexandra Inn's Highlights:
- Blush: Rooftop Terrace: Sitting on the rooftop level (fifth floor) of Alexandra Inn, Blush is the only waterfront rooftop bar and restaurant located directly on the water in Traverse City. Open daily during our summer season, Blush offers a panoramic view overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay and out towards Old Mission Peninsula. The menu is regionally inspired and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The bar highlights the incredible local wine, beer, and spirits produced in the Grand Traverse Region. Hotel guests can also sleep in and order room service during kitchen hours.
- Centrally Located: Alexandra Inn is nestled on the shore of East Grand Traverse Bay, part of the northern arm of Lake Michigan. Our central location in Traverse City allows for a great homebase for your daily adventures. Tap into dozens of local wineries or visit the vibrant downtown in under a 15-minute drive. Escape to neighboring port towns for a quiet afternoon or attempt the Dune Climb at Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes National Lakeshore, a short drive west of the Inn.
- Traverse City’s Newest Beachfront Hotel: Alexandra Inn opened in June of 2023 and offers new, modern rooms designed for current guest needs. Each room offers independent climate control, ample standard and USB outlets, 300+ thread count sheets, a 55” high-definition television that offers cable and streaming services, a dedicated workstation for remote workers, a king-size bed, a full-size pull-out sofa sleeper, marble finishes in the bathroom, an LED lighted mirror perfect for makeup application, and Gilchrist & Soames amenities.
- Expansive Amenities: Guests of Alexandra Inn can feel confident that they will get the full Up North experience even if they don’t plan to leave the Inn! Enjoy the sun at our private beach on East Bay with sun loungers, chairs, and beach towels provided. Get in a quick workout at our fitness room equipped with a barre, treadmill, and Peloton Bike. Guests can enjoy a card night or simply gather in The Study - which hosts a 12-person table, fireplace, TV, board games, and communal library. You can also eat and drink on-site at Blush or wine and snacks to-go at our lobby Market.
- Property Hosted Events: Alexandra Inn and Blush host on-site events that are available for guests to attend. One recurring event we have lined up for 2024 is Music Mondays featuring local artist John Piatek. John will be performing popular covers and original songs on Monday nights from 6-8 PM at Blush. Other events include wine and beer tastings, featured performances, and collaborating with local businesses for partnership events.
