Labor Law Posters + Complying with New Overtime Regulations
As of January 1, 2020, the first major changes in federal overtime regulations have taken effect. A new salary threshold of $35,568 has been implemented. The law requires employees earning a yearly income below the set threshold to be compensated for working overtime hours. In addition to new overtime regulations, the minimum wage has increased to $9.65/hr., with the tipped wage increasing to $3.67/hr.
Make sure your business remains compliant with the new laws; perhaps order a Labor Law poster for your office. Labor Law posters are a great way to educate staff and provide a universal reference for your team to rely on. MRLA members receive a 20 percent discount on products.

Attendees can attend educational seminars on diversity and inclusion, workforce development, and current public affairs. - Keep it clean. Before you eat or handle food, wash your hands, food prep tools, and surfaces.
- Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water before and after handling raw meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood.
- Never let perishable food items sit out longer than 2 hours.
- Keep fresh produce separate from raw meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs. Use separate cutting boards and plates.
- Always use a food thermometer.

Anthony Tocco | Founder & CEO of Carmela Foods
Anthony "Tony" Tocco started his business nearly 30 years ago. What began as a simple idea of selling quality imported olive oil out of his 1990 Ford Bronco, has evolved into a multimillion-dollar distribution company. Carmela Foods, named after Tocco's mother, not only provides the finest in imported and local based products, estate wines, prime meats, and premium seafood, but has become a Michigan staple, known among retail and food service operators for its quality of excellence.

Kevin brings over 30 years of restaurant management, operating partner, and development experience to his role at MSVRG. During the past year, Kevin led a group of employees and investors in the purchase of Mainstreet Ventures Inc. from the founding partners. Mainstreet Ventures Restaurant Group currently operates 17 fine dining establishments in 11 cities across 4 states.
Kevin brings over 30 years of restaurant management, operating partner, and development experience to his role at MSVRG. During the past year, Kevin led a group of employees and investors in the purchase of Mainstreet Ventures Inc. from the founding partners. Jake is the second 4th generation Schostak to join the family business. He is an integral part of all growth for TSFR MOD Pizza in operations, new store openings, and site selection. Today, Jake acts as owner representative and leads all marketing initiatives for MOD in addition to serving on the national MOD Marketing Advisory Group. TSFR is one of Michigan's largest multi-brand restaurant operators with an expansive portfolio of over 170 family, casual, fast-casual, and quick-service dining restaurants including Applebee's, Olga's Kitchen, MOD Pizza, Del Taco, and Wendy's.
