Join the MRL Fund + Receive Half Off Your 2021 Membership Dues
As we enter a new year and continue to navigate the impact of the pandemic on Michigan's hospitality industry, the MRLA is finding new avenues to provide value to you, our members. It is with this goal in mind that we are offering the ability for new, or current, restaurant and lodging members to receive half off their dues for 2021 if they qualify and join the MRL Fund – our industry-only workers’ comp insurance fund – within this calendar year.
Our MRL Fund offers the same protection as an insurance company for workers’ comp, but more efficiently, providing the opportunity for our industry to band together and save through an average 48 percent premium return. In 2020 alone, Fund members received over $8.1 million in returns and $92.9 million since inception of the fund in 1992.

Who can utilize this offer?
- New Restaurant or Lodging Members who qualify for the MRL Fund
- Current Restaurant or Lodging Members who qualify for the MRL Fund, but are not currently participating in the MRL Fund, and choose to enroll
- If you are currently a MRLA Restaurant or Lodging Member and not participating the MRL Fund, please complete the form below and someone from Team MRLA will contact you to determine eligibility. Once your eligibility is determined and you enroll in the MRL Fund, you will receive a reimbursement of half of your annual membership dues.
- If you are a new MRLA Restaurant or Lodging Member or are considering joining as a new member to take advantage of this offer, please complete the form below and someone from Team MRLA will contact you to determine eligibility. Once your eligibility is determined, you join the MRLA as a member, and you enroll in the MRL Fund, you will receive a reimbursement of half of your annual membership dues.
