Sparrow Health System and UnitedHealthcare have expanded their relationship, giving people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored health plans in-network access to additional Sparrow Health System facilities and affiliated physicians effective February 1, 2021.

All plan participants will have access to UnitedHealthcare resources designed to make the health care system easier and more convenient to navigate, including dedicated customer care advocates, tools at myuhc.com, a mobile app, virtual visits and a 24-hour Nurse Line. The addition of Sparrow Health System to the UHC Network strengthens an already robust network in Michigan with over 58,000 providers and 144 Hospitals. Nationally the UHC network has 5647 hospitals and 911,000 providers and healthcare professionals
