American Fifth Spirits is Lansing's first distillery. We are beyond proud to be able to make spirits of such remarkable quality using Michigan's vast resources and ingredients. Being able to share our spirits with the entire state is an honor for us. Our Tasting Room has become a staple here in downtown Lansing for guests wanting an experience that they can't get elsewhere. Our cocktails have earned us a designation of "Best Cocktails" for 3 years in a row with the City Pulse Top of the Town Contest, as well as "Best Distillery" every year since 2015. Our craft cocktails are served in an incredible atmosphere compared to no other in the area.

The MRLA is a must for community and business support. The MRLA provides real life, up to date issues that we in the food and beverage industry face every day. The MRLA provides the resources and information that we need to help our small businesses be able to navigate these issues. From community drives to legal advice, the MRLA has and will continue to be, a life saver.

- Family Owned: Family is most important to us at American Fifth. Being family owned, that mentality has trickled down to how we run the show here every day. Everyone is family here. Our staff and guests are what keep us going. We are confident in saying that we have the best in all of Lansing.
- Spirits: Making spirits is hard work. Our spirits are made with as many locally sourced ingredients as we can get our hands on. Michigan has the greatest resources and we are lucky to be able to utilize them with every run. Being able to produce multiple bourbons, whiskeys, rum, vodka, gin, cream liqueurs, absinthe, fernet, (the list goes on...) gives all of us a sense of absolute pride.
- Craft Cocktails: One of our shining stars is our seasonal craft cocktail menu. New season, new menu. We believe in the importance of both tradition and innovation. With our menus, you will see both. Our commitment to the classics gains your trust with our outside-of-the-box cocktails as well. No one here is exempt from creation. We encourage creative freedom with our entire staff. Our new menus are brought to you by everyone employed here at American Fifth Spirits.
- Community: We are beyond blessed to be a part of such a supportive community. We are fortunate to have times where we partner with other small businesses in the community to bring Lansing special events. We praise our neighbors. Small business owners. Musicians. Artists. Authors. Our clientele is so broad that we are able to make a connection no matter what walk of life you are from. We are able to find something for everyone.
